wish I had that. I only played swords once with a shorter kid who had a terrific eight pack and was a karate master even at his young age of 12 or 13.
Your story reminded me of a thing I saw on a front lawn while riding as a passenger in a friend's car en route to the gym. I turned to the right and saw on the front lawn of a house near the main highway, what looked like about 40 kids, all ages, I think all male (thank goodness) and most shirtless, mostly white but some Asian and African. They had fake spears, knives, and swords. They suddenly commenced fighting. If I were alone, I would have found a place to park and go watch. As I brought it up a lot, my friend, driving, got suspicious of me (he was not a good friend and a bit of a dick and a douchebag to be honest). I was immediately fascinated! I wish I had seen that in full!
