While I see the merit of movies starring Kirk Douglas, Charlton Heston, and Victor Mature (especially 1 Million BC) and respect their acting if not their politics (Heston's), seeing them as heroes NEVER ignited me like the lesser stars in the lesser movies with more muscled and hotter men like Reeves, Vadis, Morris, Harris, and others. Also: the former tiro's movies almost never featured great fight scenes or nearly naked men.
In fact, some of the movie with Scott and Forest (faves!) have the men less dressed than the women. I liked that!
