Marcus and Atticus were the last pair to fight at the festival. Young men came from miles around to take part in the naked gladiator contests. Likewise, there was standing room only for the crowd . High ranking citizens had a chance to inspect the naked fighters close-up before the matches. Wagers were placed, and the fights began.The crowd expected a grand finish, and they were not disappointed.
