I love a good arrow shot where the shaft goes UP into the gut from below. Then the guy folds over, setting him up to take the second shot right in the chest.

Here's a similar effect I did with one of my guys (Vlad) taking an arrow in the guts while up in a tree. (right-click on the picture to open the whole thing in a new window)

Only a huge arrowhead would pull out guts. Your way is just making more damage....why would you push it out the back?

You didn't make clear that the arrow was sticking out the back; then yes, that would make sense.
