...unfortunately the reason is the passing of director Daniel "Dan Boy" Bellei.
He passed away in April of last year at the age of 79.
Throughout the years, he produced a large amount of short films often including young, shirtless guys who were mostly shot but on some occasions also stabbed to death.

That's sad, he did some fine work with some fine guys who clearly loved getting shot or stabbed in the various scenes.
