Abryanna looked back at Peter's limp body laying on his deck chair and then walked through the woods up the creek. She followed the creek until it came to a pond surrounded on three sides by hills. A spring on top of the hill at the back of the pond fed the water and kept it cold and clear. Abryanna was about to go for a swim when she heard footsteps in the woods. Jerry, Peter's twin brother, walked up the path and looked around to make sure he was alone. Abryanna was well back in the woods, so Jerry couldn't see her. Jerry was a tall slender man with light brown almost blond hair and clear baby blue eyes. Abryanna tensed in excitement as Jerry peeled off his shirt, then his shoes, socks, and pants.
"Is he going to?" asked Abryanna under her breath.
Abryanna's face brightened in a smile and her eyes widened as Jerry slid his briefs down his legs then stepped out of them. Abryanna loaded a bolt into her crossbow as Jerry waded into the pond. Abryanna watched in admiration as Jerry swam back and forth in the pond. Finally he had finished his work out and came back to the shallow water. He stood up in thigh deep water and wiped his eyes. Jerry had pushed himself to swim farther and faster and he was out of breath. Abryanna watched his six pack tighten and release as he sucked in air.
"Oh this is so much fun." cooed Abryanna.
Thonk. Jerry's eyes widened and his mouth fell open as an arrow hit the middle of his belly.
"Ooohhh!" screamed Jerry as he wrapped his fingers around the shaft.
Thonk. Jerry gulped as an arrow slid into his navel. Jerry looked down and shook his head. He looked up at the woods hoping to see his attacker. He spotted Abryanna as she brought her crossbow up for another shot.
"Why?" cried Jerry as she took careful aim.
Thunk. The only answer Jerry got was the pain of an arrow as it went into his heart. Jerry raised his hands as he lay back in the water. He floated on the water limply, being carried by the current. Abryanna noticed his eyes were wide and blank and a little blood ran from the corner of his mouth.
"Well that's good, they were born on the same day and they died on the same day." said Abryanna as she walked away from the pond.
