I think its cool - a long intense duel builds up towards anticipated resolution 
Definitely, they are in top shape. Love their torso exposing "armor" lol
It's a tough choreography to put together, so I would give them thumbs up for the martial arts skill - I think that is their main focus is to make cool looking martial arts choreography wrapped in a role-play setting.
I should agree that they rarely add "fatal" outcomes in their routines.
I recall their old "direction" really impressed me. Too bad they didn't seem to explore that more
