Why was the website was down?

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this is around the time the website subscription was due.  It may have lapsed (they mustn't be very good at forewarning when the subscription is due). The person paying for the forum must have just renewed, bringing it back on. It seems to happen every year around this time.
