It is, Pietro Torrisi, who also went by the names Fred Hudson (in early 60s gladiator films), Peter Torres, and Peter McCoy; he started in gladiator films at age 23, and moved into Spaghetti Westerns in the late 60s.

He is also in "The Arena," which has been discussed here before. He played a Gladiator, and was killed with a spear in the back.
